Suzanne Karsters graduated in 1993, was selected for (and succesfully completed) the photography masterclass in 1994, all at The Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague.
After living in New York City and Cape Town she is now based in Amsterdam where she works as a free lance photographer on assignments and personal projects in The Netherlands and the rest of the world.

Inspired by people and urban environments she has been shooting for clients such as ING, Vibe, Levi's, Interview, Elle, BlackBook, KPN, Essent, TNT, Vodafone, ABN Amro, Lee Jeans and GAP.
She has worked with agencies such as Y&R Not just film, Dawn, Steam, DDB, FHV/BBDO, Bosley, Vandejong and Publicis.
